Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sales Associates to join our retail team. Sales Associates play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining store presentation, and supporting day-to-day operations. This position will be located at our new store in Burbank Town Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and purchases
- Operate the POS (point of sale) system to process transactions accurately
- Restock merchandise and ensure shelves/displays are neat, organized, and fully stocked
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and back stockroom
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and unpacking shipments
- Support merchandising efforts, including setting up new displays and promotional signage
- Adhere to store policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety protocols
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchases
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including counting the register and securing the store
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
